High-Fidelity Single Cycle Waveform Batch Converter

The SCW Resynthesizer is a spectral processing tool that converts single cycle waveforms of any length to the duration of Note C. This makes it ideal for use with hardware samplers such as Digitakt and Octatrack.

1. Import Single Cycle Waves

• Drag and drop single cycle waveforms[wav files] directly into the app
• Navigation: Use the PREV / NEXT buttons to cycle through and inspect the imported waveforms.
• Clear: Use CLEAR ALL to reset the system.

2. Configure Output Settings

• Select the Sample Rate: Select between 48kHz or 44.1kHz.
• Select Base Note : Choose the target pitch.
• Select the Bit Depth

3. Adjust Smoothness

The SMOOTHNESS slider controls the trade-off between “edge sharpness” and “ringing suppression.”

• 0% (Sharp): Maximum harmonic edge. Retains the original “bite” but may introduce subtle ringing near sharp transitions.
• 30% - 65% (The Sweet Spot): Recommended for most uses.
• 100% (Analog): Gently rolls off high-frequency harmonics for a warmer, more “rounded” analog character.

4. Advanced Options(added in v1.1.0[01/26/2026])

• Drive: Adjusts the amount of distortion applied to the waveform.
• Bit Reduction: Controls the quantization level of the output.

5. Export Single Cycle Waves

• Click the “EXCUTE” button.
